Roller Coaster

Yep.. as the title says, its been a roller coaster week so far. or infact roller coaster last 10 days.

after weeks of trying to offload dietingtips, i thought i finally found a buyer for it.

he wanted the design to be changed + full rehaul of the site. which i gladly did for him as we agreed on the sale price + the redesign charges.

then he dropped the bombshell..

he would pay via Western Union .

i never did and never will do a business via western union for the simple reason if something goes wrong, the chances of getting the money or the property back is highly doubtful.

so after some emails finally agreed to pay via paypal but i should transfer the domain to him first.

again, def no no. until i receive 75% of the money i dont do the transfer. if it had for a silly name or for a $10 or $20. yeah. i dont lose much. what is under discussion was a very nice name and a solid way to earn $5 per month doing nothing big..

again after some emails and pm, he paid the money as an echeque. which normally takes 3-4 days to clear.

so i sent him a copy of all the files in rar format, password protected and encrypted. so that once i receive the money i can give him the pass and i can be sure that he would do a clone of the site.

he kept on pestering me to send the domain and the password “as he sent” the money.

now i wasnt feeling too comfy with the whole situation as such and something kept bothering me abt him.

and the final one cam 2 days ago, the echeque didnt clear due to lack of funds.

so sent him a message abt this and called off the sale.

now he wants me to accept a western union..

had enough of this silly situation so i told him to bugger off and told him i am not interested in selling the site anymore and would rather keep it with me.

so here it is again, with a new layout and new script running it but less articles :(. but thats not a big deal i can add them later

staying with sites,

i think i made my last purchase for this year.

but i wont be making any site or anything with it.

i bought them with the sites. but not keen on adding to my active sites list.

so just redirecting them to my main site atm.

also, some of the sites are getting some increased traffic in the last couple of days.

so i may start selling some ads in them for possible investment in another site

oh, if u hadnt noticed this is by far the longest blog entry i have made
