i happened to come across this Search Marketing Standard Magazine today when i chanced upon Kim Krause’s Blog
I immediately when over to the website and had a look around and Subscribed to their Magazine for 2 years 
i normally dont do a magazine subscription so fast. I take my time, read the reviews, scan the pages etc.. But in this case, i have been reading posts about it for a long time and my curiosity level was bit up.
i was thinking this is gonna be one of those US only magazines. But no, they ship worldwide for no additional costs.
Subscription is only $20 per year and $36 for 2 years if you live outside USA.
And if you live in USA, it half of this price.
Not a bad deal;)

saw this in DP last week. after the initial thread went haywire, i thought it wouldnt appear for sale again.
but it did and i pm’ed the owner and got it for bin. didnt want to take a risk of going through the bids and losing it.
the owner was using PHPLD 2.0.
so i trashed the existing db of more than 1000 links and upgraded it to 3.0.5 and did a template for it.
i will probably leave it as free for a week or 2 and then will make it a paid one.
on another note, imade thebigdirectory.org a paid one and will probably sell it off as i lost the interest in it

All the 3 of my designs reuses many aspects from the Link cabin design. Idea was to make them look distinct and nice which i think i have achieved now.
the only directory which uses a free template is the BIG D i dont have any plans to change it now and will probably will leave it like that for some time.
