I am excited!!!
You see, whenever Diwali is round the corner, my mind automatically makes me a kid once again. Its not about the sweets or the hyped up programs on the television. Its simply the firecrackers 
. How much ever everyone talks about pollution (noise and smoke), I simply turn a deaf ear to that and get quite excited about bursting crackers.
Even when I was a kid, bursting crackers always excited me. And when I had to leave India for my masters in England, one thing I still missed was the crackers part. The food, the parties and people were all there. But it was simply the inability to fire-up a 10000 wala cracker that played the spoilsport

This is going to be my third year since my return to Chennai and I am already excited about Diwali
