My Websites
ChennaiForums.com is a new (old) website that i had been contemplating on launching for more than a year. It was a website in 2009 that i closed while moving to a bigger server. I never got around bringing it back alive until yesterday (lets make it officially) when the final design was taken live.
ChennaiForums.com is an another unique website in the sense that there is no such site in existence (to my knowledge). There are a lot of blogs, news sites and what not, but a dedicated discussion forum for Chennai is something that i have not come across so far.
Feel free to register, participate and share your views. And please do let your friends and family know about it. It’s still early days, but i am hopeful it will be a big community.
almost missed out, incase you did not notice, Poetry of Life has a new design.
the old one was kind of become stale as it was close to 3-4 yrs without any major change. The new one brings a much needed layout change and also puts more focus on the latest poem.
I am sucker for good music. In-fact music is one of my past times. When I am bored, angry, sad or happy, music is an integral part of me. I would even go to the extent of calling it as one of the best stress reliever (at-least personally). I listen to a lot of songs mostly alternative rock, electronic/dance, rock/metal and more…
Rather than creating a list of my favorite songs, I decided to take it one step further and create a site around the songs that I like and listen to regularly

I have just now started adding the songs to it, so there is not much. But soon, I should have most of my favorite songs in there. And if you want to add yours to the site, feel free to do so.

I use Interspire Website Publisher to run couple of my websites.
One of the website that runs on this is Awesome Indian Cuisine – Collection of authentic, delicious Indian food recipes.
Being a regular visitor of their forums, i was very much surprised to see they had changed their design to really fit in with their awesome products when i logged in today morning.
But the biggest surprise was when i checked out the Website Publisher homepage. Awesome Cuisine has been used to showcase the software. Check out the screenshot below. If i hadnt visited the website, i would not have even known about it

All sites that were affected by the hosting issue are back up and running.
Some of my sites are down due to some unexpected hosting issues. I am in touch with the host and i expect the sites to be back online soon.
At this moment, i am moving the major ones to a new host and they should be back up very soon compared to 2 sites that will be down until this issue is resolved.
Update (13/10): All sites are back online…
Update: All the sites are back online with 2 sites requiring some small code edits and changes which i expect to be completed in another 24 hrs.

Recently got this in namepros. As the name says, it will be a directory of RSS Feeds. It runs on PHPLD 3.1 + Rob’s Spam Guard + My live rss feed mod in the details page where you can preview the feed and also subscribe using any of the online feed readers out there…

ps: i am busy with professional work, hence this short blog.
at this moment, email is the only way to get a response from me. If you have left a private message in any of the forums i frequent and waiting for a response, i am terribly sorry i havent replied to you.
Professional work is keeping me busy from a lot of things and i am afraid this is set to continue for some more time.
Finally a blog post after a long time. A month and 1 week to be precise 
If you are wondering where i was all these time, it doesnt require a detective to find the answer. Professional Work has and is taking up almost all of my time with only weekends available for other stuff. Because of this, i have restricted my online activity a lot – only a few minutes in each forum i frequent and couple of hours for my websites.
Now for the updates

- Webmasters Cavern has got a new design now. I have been contemplating on redesigning it for a long time – right from the start of 2007. I managed to squeeze in some little time and did the resign over a period of 7 weeks. Even then i havent fully completed it yet. The only section which needs to be changed is the Articles section. Apart from this all the other sections – Webmaster Directory, Web Graphics and Web Tools have been ported to the new layout.
